My First Classic was created with a simple idea: you shouldn’t need a huge budget to own a car that feels special.

We specialise in affordable classics, modern classics and the slightly unusual – the cars many of us grew up wanting, remember from our younger days, or have simply always fancied owning.

A little bit about us

Cars have been a huge part of our life for as long as we can remember. Andy, our founder spent much of his career working in and around the automotive industry, including setting up a national automotive events business. But away from the day job, he’s always been a genuine car enthusiasts – particularly when it comes to classics, modern classics and the more unusual end of the market.

Andy has owned, bought, sold, fixed and occasionally regretted buying more interesting cars than he wants to admit. but always believed that some of the most enjoyable cars aren't necessarily the most expensive ones. That's really where My First Classic came from.

Andy wanted to create somewhere for people who fancy dipping their toe into classic car ownership without feeling that they need to be an expert – or spend a fortune.

We aim to find and offer interesting, usable and affordable cars that you can actually drive and enjoy, rather than simply polish and worry about, cars that mean you don’t need to be an expert to own.

Some will be immaculate. Some will have a few battle scars. Some might need a little tinkering. But we'll always try to describe them honestly and tell you what we know about them. And we’ll be here to offer help, advice and recommendations during the course of your ownership.

Whether you're buying your first ever classic, looking for a nostalgic reminder of your youth, searching for a fun weekend car or simply fancy owning something a little different, hopefully we'll have something that catches your eye.
